Juan Vicente was born in Colonia (Germany), where he lived until he was 19 years old. He completed a degree in Fine Arts at the University of Granada, after which he taught plastic arts. He started teaching German in 1992, followed by his work at the Official Schools of Languages of Velez Malaga and Chiclana de la Frontera and, from 1996 onwards, at the Official School of Languages of Malaga.

Inge was born in Sindelfingen (Germany), graduated as a translator at the University of Maguncia, and completed a degree in Philology at the University of Málaga. She teaches at the Official School of Languages of Malaga since 1976.

Marta was born and lives in Malaga. She studied in Granada, London, and Passau (Germany) and obtained a triple degree by means of a programme carried out by the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting, “Applied Languages in Europe”. After working as a translator and interpreter for a short period, she commenced her work as a German teacher, having taught at “Costa del Sol” school of tourism, the Official School of Languages of Marbella, and, from 2005, the Official School of Languages of Malaga.

Blanca was born in Malaga, where she completed her higher secondary education. She studied Geography and History at the University of Granada, which she finished in 1978. She moved to Berlin with her German husband in 1979, where she lived until 1990. She worked as an employee of Herber Editorial in a bookshop in Berlin from 1984 to 1990. In 1990 she returned to Malaga. She was successful in the Civil Service Examinations for Teachers in 1991 and she is a civil servant since then. Blanca taught German in the Official School of Languages of Velez-Malaga from 1991 to 1998. She is a German teacher at the Official School of Languages of Malaga since 1998.

Esther studied German Philology at the University of Alcala de Henares, Madrid (1983-89). She furthered her studies on Germanic languages and German as a Second Language at the German University of Heidelberg (1987-89). Esther came back to Spain in 1989 and worked for two years in Turismo Mar school of tourism, Valencia, as a German temporary teacher. In July 1992, she was successful in the Civil Service Examinations for Andalusian Official Schools of Languages. This same year she started work for the Official School of Languages of Cordoba, where she remained for two years, being the director of the centre as well as a German teacher from 1993 to 1994. In October 1994 she started work at the Official School of Languages of Velez-Malaga, where she taught German until September 2003. She started teaching at the Official School of Languages of Malaga in October 2003. During the 1999-2000 school year, she participated in a post exchange programme with a German teacher, imparting Spanish lessons at the Erich-Gutenberg-Berufskolleg Institute in Colonia.
